Merry Christmas, Drake & Josh (besides known as Drake & Josh: All-time Christmas Always ) is a 2008 American television movie based on the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. Drake Bell, Josh Peck, Miranda Cosgrove, Nancy Sullivan, and Jonathan Goldstein reappear equally their corresponding characters, with several recurring characters from the TV series also reappearing. The motion picture aired on Nickelodeon a year later on the show's original terminate in 2007.[1] The movie premiered on December five, 2008, as a Nickelodeon Original Movie. Shortly before Christmas, Walter and Audrey decide to leave home for a tropical vacation. Their children Drake and Megan come home while Josh shows them his snowman air balloon ornament, which Megan sabotages. Later at the mall, Drake tells Josh that he will be throwing a Christmas political party on the roof of Josh's workplace, the Premiere theater, which Josh is unsure of, simply Helen approves on the status that Drake dresses as Santa at the mall. While hiding from a woman looking to kiss him, Drake meets a little girl named Mary Alice who says she is a fan of his music. In his rush to get away, Drake accidentally makes an unbreakable promise that he volition give her family the best Christmas e'er.
At the party, Craig and Eric suggest to Drake that he perform a song in the upcoming Christmas parade, but Drake explains that he will be in Las Vegas at a concert. Afterwards on, some political party crashers evidence upwards whom Josh calls the police on, but he falls off the roof after they arrive during a mix-upwardly, landing in the dorsum of a moving pickup truck with the police trailing shut backside, eventually rolling out only to be arrested. In jail, he meets his cellmate, Bludge. At get-go, Bludge tries to beat him up until Josh entertains him with magic tricks. The opening theme for the picture show entitled "Christmas Promise" was composed and performed by Drake & Josh series composer Backhouse Mike. Miranda Cosgrove did a cover of "Christmas Wrapping", and the song became the single of the motion-picture show, simply no soundtrack was released.
